A cosy Greek restaurant with amiable staff and really tasty food! (Best octopus I’ve ever had). We also got nice Greek salads on the house!

Usually I don't review on maps "at home" but Corona put a hard time on restaurants, so next to more tipping I try to spread the word on the places where I felt in good hands.
And the "Weisser Stein" is such a place - we had a duck ???? for 4 people on Christmas to take away. It was definitely different to what you would expect when talking about the sides, but it was all very good and tasted amazing.
I'm definitely going to check this place out when the lockdown is over.

My friends and I came to this restaurant at least once a week for the food, atmosphere, and great beer during our study abroad trip. We came constantly for the amazing falafel burger and fries. The owner, Patrick, is such a personable guy and takes the time to get to know his customers. He personally served us each time and asked us how our trips were. Extremely friendly atmosphere, great food, and even better beer!!

Great, low key place with lots of outdoor seating. No English menu, but the Chef/Owner came out and explained everything in very good English. He was cheerful and fun, and even made something special for a member of our group who couldn't eat the normal dish. The food was simple and delicious. Would gladly go back.

This place has the best food in town! It is such a great value and is delicious! I cannot say enough positive things about this place! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. (Try the burgers)

Weisser Stein is a great restaurant! The food is always good and the prices are great. I ate there very often during my time in Heidelberg, and Patrick and his employees were always great! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

I am a student studying abroad. My friends and I come to the Weisser Stein at least once a week, we absolutely love it. We felt very comfortable and welcomed there. The owner is great, he speaks English and always gave us recommendations for our travels. Frienldy staff and delicious food. The back area is a perfect place to grab a beer and some dinner with friends. Highly recommend this place for everyone!
