Nice authentic little restaurant. Food was very fresh and the service was excellent.
Unfortunately they do not accept card so you have to be prepared to pay cash

Nice and cosy but it’s 2022 and you should accept card. It’s a great place to get good local food. There’s a cute bier garden on the back. Inside is also very typical. However, was almost caught by surprise when they said “no card, cash only”. I really don’t understand.

It's hard to say how good this restaurant really is. There were three of us, and my father's rump steak was very very good, cooked exactly as he liked it. Myself, I ordered the holzfaeller schnitzel, which was overcooked. The side dishes were excellent however, in particular the spaetzle, which were homemade (recommended). My mother order the spargel mit kartoffeln, which arrived cold. They returned with a steaming dish after having apparently reheated it instead of starting from scratch, which caused them to be very watery. A disappointment. So all in all, choose wisely, and your meal might be worth a return trip. I myself would give them a second chance, but only once. My mother would not.

Nice environment, with a small inner courtyard. Staff was very friendly and caring, food was typical German and good!

Gans. In der Weihnachteszeit. Perfekt.

PERFECTLY cooked goose in the Christmas season, with wonderful local wines. No wonder that students, well-off locals, and visitors keep this place lively.

Loved this place. Traditional German bar/ restaurant. Hearty traditional food and beer. Friendly service ????

Very friendly staff here. They let me keep one of their Hefeweizen glasses to take back with me to the U.S. which I still use to this day. Thanks guys!
