Food has gone downhill this summer: the main course salad was entirely covered in vinegar and barely edible. A side salad to a fatty cut of meat can be sour, a main salad has to be flavoursome. The weizenbeer came straight out of a bottle. It's a nice location but they need to try harder especially for the price

Always a pleasure. The food is excellent, the choice of beer and wine is interesting and the quaint but neat ambience leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant has a small backyard beer garden.

The food was delicious. The waiter was extremely helpful. We did not know what the plates meant in German and he translated all of them. Very nice experience and 100% recommended ????????

Yes! The right choose to go for a German traditional food! Not touristic, super good food and atmosphere.
Just don’t order a salad;) go for Cavados Lendchen or try Gans.
They also have Rjoha and Riesling aus Fass.
Staff is friendly and always will find a place for you even if you don’t reserve. But you might end up sharing table with other people, which is not usual for Germany but great chance to have a conversation!

Nice place, good food. They only accept cash, so plan accordingly. The seating area is very limited- hard to move without inconveniencing adjacent tables.

My chicken was too pink in the middle in my opinion but they didn't take it back because it was "normal ".
