A small Korean restaurant in Heidelberg, located nearby the Heidelberg Castle.

You can expect to find here several typical Korean dishes, which are very good but also served in quantity (if you cannot eat everything you can ask to take it home and they will give you a small plastic box). Spicy dishes are very spicy.

Typical Korean beer, tea, and sodas are also available.

The staff is very friendly and the service fast.

You might find some waiting times depending on the arrival time.

One of my favorite places in Heidelberg.
The food is super delicious and and I have never had to wait long for my food. The staff is very nice but it is very popular so I suggest making a reservation or going earlier in the evening.

Guess what, they don’t even have dessert, but this is one of the things that shows how authentically Korean they are! Food can get really spicy, be prepared if you come here and expect some “tamed” version of European Korean food :D

When I arrived at 8pm they didn't have what I wanted and they didn't have rice anymore. So I asked to substitute it for Nudeln but they didn't accept. After confusing 15min they said the rice was ready so I order a Bi Bim Bap and dumplings. Was both were nothing special, a bit blend. The waitress was so busy that she got my food order first and went away without asking for the drink. I wouldn't go back.

The chicken was really good, with reasonable price. Staff was really nice! Very recommended for Korean chicken place ????????

Yummy Korean food in town! :) Simple and affordable restaurant. We ordered Bibimpap and Jaeyukdeopbap. Portion was plenty enough for two people and the taste was very good. Ambience can be improved.
Recommended for Korean cuisine lovers! ;)

Soban has great food, the staff is friendly and it’s very well located. The restaurant is small and they do not accept bookings however it is worth it to wait a bit for a table.
