The waitress so nice, and so cute, we all like her. The boss very kind. We have lunch in 7/7/2019, two families total 8 person, we ordered Haze beilahen, jungbullenbrust, schweinberaten and beers. The food taste good, the atmosphere good too. Suggest that the boss can provide food pictures on menu that would very helpful for customers reference.

5 stars for this restaurant in Heidelberg. The pork chop was good and the beer also great. A must try in Heidelberg after seeing the old bridge and castle. Quite close actually.

I was attracted because of the high rating and I am very disappointed of the taste. The dumpling is a flour base. It is like a muffin with meat. The sausage is just okay. Not bbq. It is like it has been placed for a long time. My German friend says it is not the German taste. :(((

Ordered the other prawn curry dish, lack of imagination.

Very disappointed.

--- P.S--- I am a Chinese so there is no way I am a competitor. 地理位置也不是很好 真的要走很远 是步行街的尽头。 食物是真的真的很一般 没有特色。 饺子千万别点 真的会后悔。

Original comment:The snitchel was ok but not great in taste.

Answer to the owner's comment:
So you think that because I am Greek, I am not entitled to an opinion? That is a racist and ignorant think to say. I am a very experienced traveller and I have had snitzel many times before. You should be respectfull of your clients and their opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a fantastic dinner here on 21 July while staying in Heidelberg for the German grand prix. As it was a busy Saturday night we had to wait a while for a table, but it was worth it.
The owner was very friendly and even gave us a complimentary salad while we waited.

The food was beautifully cooked - I can highly recommend the Lamm-Paprika-Zwiebel-Spieß (a Balkan style lamb kebab) - and the local beer was good too.

As we visited during a heatwave we were relieved to find that the restaurant was air-conditioned, so we were very comfortable.
It is tucked away in the Bergbahn station near the castle, and is not very big so I would advise booking.

Unfortunately we only discovered it on the penultimate night of our stay, but would love to go back.

Nice restaurant with a peaceful atmosphere.
The place is pretty new, so the interior is very clean. The staff was friendly and he could also speak English, which makes it also good for tourists. The food was delicious with reasonable prices and they had big portions. The only bad thing was the location. Still a very good place and worth to check out~
