We had a nice big room and extra large bathroom. It's a simple place but the helpful staff made it special. It also has a wonderful location in Heidelberg in the Altstadt right by the old bridge. Jana one of the young desk clerks working there went out of her way to make sure my visually impaired companion had assistance at Heidelberg train station and when we arrived in Berlin. We are so grateful!

Hotel is located very near the bridge, which is one of the main attractions of the town. The room is clean and spacious. However, the toilet particularly the shower area is quite small. The 3 storey hotel does not have any lift and you will need to carry the luggages yourself.

The room was spacious but the bathroom was tiny. Had to ask for hair dryer at desk and no other amenities such as lotion were included. However, the breakfast was good (typical European fare). Thomas was the best! He had a very welcoming and jovial manner. Our room had a view of the river and bridge so it made our experience really worthwhile.

It's comfortable, the location is very good you can see the Old Bridge Heidelberg and the people in the hotel are kind and attentive. It's in the old city and you can go to the historic places without pay for transportation and the view from the hotel is divine. I was there and I love it!

We stayed in the summer of 2013.

This is a rather basic hotel but it is in a phenomenal location (except for the passing singing drunk on weekend nights... whachagonnado?).

The room we had was large (really high ceiling) but not ornate. Parking is also a little difficult but the desk clerks are well versed, very friendly and speak a good selection of languages.

Breakfast was, again, basic but plentiful and served with a newspaper and, f you're the chatty type, lots of camaraderie (guests and staff seem generous with advice on many, many topics).

I stayed with my wife and two boys (ages 5 and 9) and it was very quiet and welcoming. Nice breeze off the Neckar in the evening.

It's just a few steps (literally) from the old bridge (see the monkey!) and the giant church (whose square has the Farmers' Market). Walking all the way up to the castle is exactly the chore it was designed to be... and fantastically worth it.

I would stay with this hotel again mostly for the reasonable price, cleanliness and location. If you'd like something fancier, you may be happy elsewhere.
