We spent 2 nights at the Hotel and had a comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Had two types of breakfast €7 and €17. We went for the cheaper option which was various rolls with meat, cheese and jam, which was fine.
Amazing location right on the river by the Old Bridge. Also shops near and not too far a walk to the historic palace. Very good restaurant next to the hotel. Recommended.

Chanced upon this hotel while searching for a place to stay at Heidelberg. We are completely blown away when we arrived at the hotel - the long history of the hotel, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, and the Neckar river and Old Bridge Heidelberg facing view is amazing. The staff are very warm and friendly. Great place to stay while in Heidelberg.

I don’t stay here but feel like I need to leave a review for their excellent sympathy.
We had booked one night via booking.com, but on our way the rented car broke down and we had to wait for hours in the middle of nowhere without receiving the support from the rental company. We therefore had to get to the nearest town for an overnight stay and had to cancel our Heidelberg trip, including the hotel booking. Guess what?! They took the decision to waive our payment even we had expected we’d have to pay!

We stayed here for two nights. The location is superb, its close to everything, you need not transportation, only by walking you get to almost everywhere.
Its by the monkey bridge.
The room was basic but clean and neat. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel because we wanted to explore the endless places outside.
If you're staying at the 4th floor you need to know that the elevator works until level 3.
If you have a car they give you a voucher to park at certain parking zone for 10 Euros a night.
The reception guy Thomas did help us alot to get to know the right places in the city.

My wife and I had a comfy stay here, room was outdated but clean.
Location was good, would recommend having breakfast at the street nearby at Cafe Knösel, very delicious?
What is outdated here: three lamps in the room did not work, they look like then now banned in the EU energy saving lamps!!
Also there was.
no water boiler in the room for making tea/coffee

Nice hotel right at the city centre. Rooms are big, bright and clean. Decor seems to be from 90s but it is surprisingly like new. I can't comment on breakfast since we ate out.

Cozy, warm, clean, silent (at least on the side rooms) and very gentle staff. Amazing location. The bed was a little too soft for me and the floor has carpet. I usually hate carpet floors, but it sure made the room warmer during winter. I would definitely recommend it.
