I had the first appointment here and I liked the staff. It’s not easy to locate the exact place you need to visit specially if you don’t know German so well. I’ve added the photo of the bus stop so that nobody gets confused like I did.

I was in the hospital for a fractured foot for almost 13 hours ! The receptionist were very friendly when I walked in they register me inside so fast , but then I had to wait for 13 hours as if they forgot about me completely, and the receptionist in emergency room were so professional untill you ask them a question and then they are very rude and disrespectful! All they say is take a seat like they don’t care :/

This hospital is honestly a joke :(

Their staff never answer the phone even though I was advised to call in a week for my blood results to confirm if I have a life threatening disease. (I've rang over 20 times over three days, eventually I dragged myself back, I'm in quite a lot of pain ATM. So that was quite a lot of effort for me sadly)..

After travelling there to get the results (as they never answered and their numbers are incorrect on google), I was given the wrong blood test (just the standard test, not the specific bacterial test results) even though I double checked when she gave them do me, as they looked the same as the results I left with after my overnight stay.

So now, I have to go back there again...

During my stay I observed some shocking instances surrounding hygiene or lack there of.

Blood on the floor (wiped up with paper towel and left for 13 hours on the floor)..

Patients sleeping on mattresses on the floor.

Filthy toilets with diarrhoea (in the emergency Wartenzimmer and wards)

Staff repeatedly gaslighting patient cry's for medication and worsening of symptoms.

They lost my first urine and heart monitoring sample...???? So it had to be redone.

And it seems like nothing was transferred with my case amongst their team, I constantly had to reinform, confirm X test had been done 3 hours ago, and go over symptoms repeatedly.

I also witnessed multiple times whereby doctors came to treat patients that had already been collected by their colleagues...what form of internal client tracking are you using for this to happen? None?

Utterly, disappointed and shocked that this hospital is clearly so understaffed...it's one of the major Hamburg hospitals...

Their out patient psychiatric care is commendable, given the post pandemic surge in mental health issues and large number of care needing individuals. They were prompt, listening
For anyone needing or going through emergency psychiatric situation can visit here, even on Sunday , when entire city is shut.

Terrible hospital. Came because of vertigo, dizziness and hard headache after a bike accident at 15:00, it is 1:31 am right now and the Neuro doctor is nowhere to be found. Reception says we cannot go home and come another time, that we'd have to repeat the whole process. This is unacceptable.

I would caution against going here as their attitude towards care and patients is less than humane. Too many people, too many dr doing their own thing, total chaos without the necessary supervision or duty of care given to patients. Purely a money making business venture, no longer possible to abide to any medical oath.
Never again.

The worst hospital ever! The emergency department is full with nurses who have no empathy at all, they treat people like they are objects. I was about to pass out while they took blood from me and l said l feel very bad and the nurse just left me there without any help ( blond young woman) The doctors also not so competent as they should be, in general big chaos amd you have to wait 3-4 hours. Please if you need to go to a hospital choose another one, for example Agaplesion Diakonie is much better!
