Small but very interesting museum. I found the price (6€) ok. The temporal exhibition about pandemics was only in German. The general exhibition was in English and German. I found the "Medizinverbrechen im NS" and "Moulagen - Krankheiten in Wachs" sections specially interesting. There are toilets in the museum.

Went here on a day when entry was free and it was packed. Spent about an hour and a half and found it very interesting, the special exhibition was on postcards and photos sent during the first world war from field hospitals. It's not exactly a museum suited for small kids since there are a few graphical displays of bad infections, death, etc.but if you have some time to kill while waiting at the hospital (it's on the grounds of the UKE campus) or if you are generally interested in medicine, then I can recommend this museum.

Nice place and great exhibition! And also very polite and kind personal. Museum will be extremely interesting for people somehow connected to medicine. The only problem is museum doesn`t work during working days, it`s only opend on weekends. And that all sings on the second floor are in German. English translation one can find only on the 1st floor.

We had only one day in Hamburg and went there for half of the day. It was worth it.
