Very nice tavern in the Hamburg Portuguese quarter.
Fresh, well cooked and tasty fish.
Really attempting staff (they also speak Portuguese and Spanish).
The white "wine of the House " is very good (vinho verde is really recommended).
I suggest you to sit on the terrace if the weather is nice. No cars passing near, very quite place, shaddy at around noon.

This is a place with a mix of Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. The diversity of dishes is high, however, I was a bit disappointed at my dish as it arrived a bit cold. I ordered the dish with rabbit and chestnuts. The vegetables on the side were also a bit poor in my opinion. The staff took very long to come take our order, despite the place not being so busy. At the end of our meal, we had to actually stand up and go pay directly at the counter because nobody was coming to check our table. We didn’t have the most attentive waiter.

Everything was SO perfect. First I got half a bottle of Vinho Verde when I was watching the menu card. When I asked for the best fish, I was recommended to get the "Mix Grill". It was SO crispy outside - and SO juicy inside.... I have NEVER tasted so good fish (and I often go to fish restaurants).
And the price is low. I'm a little sad, I live 6-700 km from here ????

Good food. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. We loved the octopus and grilled quail.

Of the many Portuguese restaurants in this street, this was our favourite so far. The prices are similar to the others around here, and the food was excellent - delicious fish, surprisingly well-seasoned and well-cooked sides, and the mussels in white wine sauce were to die for - we literally scooped out and drank the broth once the mussels were gone.
Single point of criticism: they don't do extra wishes. I wanted roasted potatoes instead of boiled, and got boiled with no further comment. However, even the boiled potatoes were delicious, so all is forgiven. Great place!

Edit: Another two visits later and we're still convinced that this restaurant is great. Special shout-out for the quail in orange sauce; very reasonable price and portion for a tapas dish.

Good seafood will large portions. Even the tapas sardines were huge. It's worth the wait to sit outside on a warm day. We didn't know much German, and their English was limited, but we still had a lot of fun working things out with the thoughtful and friendly staff. The neighborhood is busy but charming with a old feel. We had a nice walk after dinner to see St. Michael and visit the best ice cream in Hamburg which are both just I few steps away. Next Hamburg visit we will be back, for sure.
