It is a shame to have to write a negative review.
We spontaneously walked in for dinner and were having a nice experience.
Positives: nice ambiance, very friendly staff and delicious food.
Negatives: it's expensive which would have been justified with the quality of food but then we both got sick. I got sick immediately after dinner and had to rush to the bathroom while my girlfriend fell sick later at the same night and our weekend was ruined. It was the first meal we shared that week and we both ordered the same fish dish and we both got sick afterwards.
On this level of restaurants it is really unacceptable to get sick from the food! I wrote the restaurant an email. No answer, hence, the bad review.

Normally, I steer away from hotel restaurants.

Stadt Restaurant located in Reichshof Hotel is very good. The food was outstanding as was the Riesling. The service was also friendly and good.

Just one compliant. Serving outstanding desserts, I would have excepted a somewhat strong freshly brewed coffee to be paired with them not a machine brewed cafe crema.

Overall, outstanding outstanding none the less.

Stayed in the hotel and decided to eat in for supper at the Stadt restaurant, rather than go out in the city. Special treat with my 12-year old son, because the prices are not cheap. However, the food and wines by the glass were fantastic - excellent filet steak and chips and a really good creme brûlée with apple sorbet. The early evening atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were charming and attentive - we felt very welcome; what more could you want?
