Good German eatery with moderate prices and huge portions. Don’t be scared and take Labskaus - the local fisherman’s delicacy. It doesn’t look but tastes great! Very nice and friendly staff. When in vicinity definitely worth visiting!

Absolute hidden gem of a restaurant so close up the shopping centre area. This is German food as it should be. Hearty, served up in big portions, in a great simple rustic inn style atmosphere.

The Weiner Schnitzel came out huge and we couldn't finish our generous portions of meat and potatoes and salad.

Starters with garlic bread and dips (curry mayo was a first for me) and a tomato soup with a good dollop of cream and a shot of gin hit the warmth spot needed on lovely crispy cool day.

Service is excellent, very very helpful and unhurried.

The clientele seem to be seasoned regulars and I have no doubt that its because of the excellent quality of the restaurant.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you're visiting Hamburg.

Very good restaurant
Don’t expect gastronomic food but very tasty local food served by lovely staff coming in large plate.

Very nice experience here.

Recommandation : yes worth even the detour if you don’t know where to eat and looking for nice local food.

This is an extremely strange restaurant which I actually enjoyed. The dish we ordered tasted very strange, but it was good in its own way. All the things on the menu are quite unique. Have a look at their menu if the seems like something you enjoy, then try it out

We had the panfish dish and it was amazing. The portion sizes were large and the fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked.

A really traditional Hamburg eatery. Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Obviously popular with locals judging by the table full of men playing cards behind me.

Delicious traditional german dishes. The size of the portions is unreal. Friendly staff. Efficient service.
