Great hotel with history and charm. The recent renovations are also done really well, without compromising the old charm of the original building interior. The service is excellent, not snobby at all, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bar is also amazing. Will definitely come back!

The Hotel Atlantic is one of the best hotels in town. Its tradition, the service, the rooms, the bar and restaurant are must to see (and to enjoy).
We stayed over the weekend in a larger room, had a fantastic breakfast, enjoyed the bar several times with great drinks (even beyond the standard menu). The professional staff is highly dedicated and committed. We would like to come back next time we stay in Hamburg for sure.

Hotel Atlantic is one of the most astonishing hotels in Hamburg, facing the waterfront. The hotel is very classic, beautifully decorated and very spacious and comfortable. The internal garden with bar is surrounded by the meeting and function halls. The restaurant offers excellent starters and fusion soups and main dishes. If you want to feel like a prince ... Then you may want to try Atlantic hotel.

I’ve worked myself in big houses and Hotels before. The Atlantik is so classy and has a big story to offer. This area is close by, you can just walk anywhere you want! I stayed for a short trip - three nights. It was amazing! Service, the rooms and also the view! Pretty sure I’ll be back! Thank you again so much!

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It was charming, well maintained, and spotlessly clean. All staff delivered wonderful service. The bar was a great place to unwind at the end of the day.

Hotel in a nice building, and good location close to the train station and with amazing views on the Alster. However, the rates for staying here are overpriced, as the hotel is in urgent need of a refresh due to the wear and tear (furniture in the rooms is cracked and damaged, the lift indicator at the lobby does not work and you do not know which of the two lifts is going down or up, etc). In addition, although breakfast is acceptable, it is not at the level of other luxury properties we have stayed at: no freshly squeezed orange juice, not much variety, etc. Finally, parking is expensive (37 euros/night), and lots of plastic is being wasted with the small amenities (shampoo, gel, conditioner…much better to use large recipients fixed in the walls and that can be refilled!). I would have to think it twice if I would stay here again.

Family has been coming here for decades - remains to be the best hotel in Hamburg in my opinion. Great location close to the Aussenalster and Hbf. Staff are very attentive and professional. Always a pleasure to be here: rooms are quiet, beds are very good and the breakfast leaves you wanting for nothing :)
