Good price/quality rate for visiting beautiful Hamburg. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had no breakfast so no judgment possible for that item. All extras that one might need (hairdryer, fan) are available at the reception: just ask! We visited during the hot summer nights of July 2018 and the room was freaking hot, but one can hardly blame the hotel on that one: thanks for the fan "Frau Thomas" ;-)
We had no problem with the Burger King next door, but sometimes you smell their chimney outlet. But "Hey", fancy for a midnight snack? It's right next to you!
In the red 'how to survive'-guide it says that changing the towels was free of charge, but at the reception they wanted to charge us € 4 for extra towels (which we forgot to pick up before 20h00, so no extra costs for us on that one).
The internet speed requires some attention: the speed is slow, very slow. Actually, for 2018 it is unacceptably slow. We didn't visit Hamburg to surf on the net, but uploading a few (6) pictures for writing reviews, which we do frequently, took up to 30 minutes using the wifi (wlan). Internet connection and speed, really need an upgrade!
