Recommended for the food • today I was with my client at the Schoenemann Restaurant. The interior is stylish, a bit like a leaving room atmosphere. The business lunch, the food/fish was delicious!!!
But I have to say, there is defiantly room for improvement with the service. The service was inattentive. Had to ask the waitress to take the order; had to ask two times for a bottle of water; had to ask twice for the espresso… Attitude which can be changed quickly - at this price level I expect it on a different level.
Overall 4 stars for the great food, two for the service.

Totally overpriced, only the waiters were friendly but the service wasn't corresponding to the price. For instance, they brought wrong side dish, we had to ask twice for a beverage and they didn't even bring a new glass. We ordered medium rare steaks and they were almost well done. Now I understand why I found a table spontaneously on a Friday night; the restaurant was almost empty. 160€ for 2 main dishes, 1 appetizer and beverages that are worth max 60€. Never again

An absolutely great restaurant on Opernplatz. The visit is a dream from beginning.

The restaurant is very modern, bright and elegantly furnished. It is very inviting and you immediately feel very comfortable. The outdoor area is also beautiful.

When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted in a very friendly manner and shown to your table. The food and wine list is brought to you very quickly.

The selection of food and wine is great. There really is something for everyone on the menu.

The service is very attentive and is at the table at the right moment to take your order or to fulfil a wish.

The food is always absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, simply wonderful.

For the price offered, you get great service, great quality food and drinks.

I can only recommend everyone to try it out, you won't be disappointed.

We went there for a lunch today. The food and service were both okay, but couple hours later we both got sick and had food poisoning. It was very disappointing and unacceptable experience.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Schönemann this evening. We originally booked Bidlabu but the restaurant called to cancel due to the weather today. Whilst walking home slightly disappointed, my husband suggested trying out Schönemann as we always wanted to try anyway. Mr Moritz really made our day, he was very friendly and helpful and recommended wine to pair with our main dish. We really enjoyed the food and the experience despite the rain. In the end we realised that the restaurant is Sofitel’s hotel restaurant, no wonderful why the quality of food and service is high!

Went here for breakfast and it was just ok. Food came out at different times and one of our servers was a little rude to my grandfather. The Eggs Benedict was also only a single poached egg. For the price, I'd expect two, like at most restaurants. Overall, would not return.
