I stayed here June 2022 because of the good reviews. This place is only okay, but others should know the hotel offers a free drink for good reviews. This is really just a two star hotel. Hotel is just okay, but not a four star hotel and nothing special. More like upgraded dive hotel. Our room was clean, but the ac unit did not work, and that was a big reason for staying. Staff were nice but that’s about it. Location was close to the train station but I would not choose this place again. Find another hotel if you want ac, a working elevator, no drug deals happening outside, or a quieter location. But I guess if you want a free drink from the hotel, then you will leave a good review.

Serviceable, affordable hotel has a promising entrance and much less exciting, basic rooms, fortunately with decent shower and bed. The reception desk staff is very friendly (even while having to man the desk all by himself). Neighborhood is what you'd expect this close to a main train station, but all perfectly doable for jetlagged travellers like me with just one night to kill.

Very nice lobby bar area and rooms. 2 min walk from main train station. I would recommend if you want to be close to train station. Exterior doesn’t look very impressive but felt safe.

It is a good place to stay near the main train station, however, the neighborhood is just horrible. While coming to the hotel, two guys on the street tried to scare me with a loud yell behind my back. Honestly, I was completely shaken. I wanted to go out in the evening to explore the city and have dinner, but I felt very unsafe and literally so terrified to come back alone in this neighborhood in night, that I went to a shop nearby to fetch some food and return back in a jiffy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for women who are traveling alone. Apart from this, the room was small but clean; and the staff was friendly.

This hotel is taking copies of national ID cards and passports without previous consent, this against German federal law and therefore an illegal practice. National ID cards and passports shall never be copied to prevent indentity theft and fraud. This is also a serious breach of personal data protection regulations. Stay away from this hotel if you want to protect your identity and avoid someone else to perform illegal activities under your name.

The person at the front desk was nice. However, the property is old--built in the 1960s and so it is dirty, smelly, no elevator to the top floor--had to take luggage from 5th floor up to our floor by stairs. The area around the hotel is the worst I have ever seen--very unsafe. There was a loud nock at the door at 10:50 asking us to leave--even though the check out is at 11:00 -- Extremely rude! Will never stay there again.

The location of the hotel is horrible but the hotel itself was nice. A couple hundreds of meters away from this place you can find a street packed with people using all kind of drugs. Too bad, since the ambiance of the hotel was really good.
