This restaurant is run by a really sweet older Korean couple who simply want to provide some authentic Korean taste to the people in Frankfurt. You do need to pay attention to the opening hours, because (at least when we wanted to go here) they aren't open at the most usual hours on every day. Definitely plan beforehand!
The food was really amazing. You receive a variety of banchan to enjoy and their menu can change from time to time, depending on which items they have available. So it's not always good to base your decision on the pictures shown on reviews. However, whatever you eat here is surely to be really delicious!
It's not a huge restaurant, but there is enough room inside and outside to sit. When we went here there were many tables taken but also enough still available.

Searched for Korean food, found Koban. I love the owner, nice and smiley couple. Food is tasty, price is reasonlable (about 8-12 euro) seating is indoor and outdoor. Toilet is clean. Highly recommended if you seek for Korean cuisine taste.

This place has great food and is hidden away but within fairly easy reach from niederrad by bicycle. The staff are friendly and nice. The food is well made, fresh and filling.

If I had one wish it would be that communication with the staff was a little easier but the food is so good, i will be back again (and try to learn some Korean)

The restaurant located in a local community is extremely clean and the service is superb and warm. The restaurant is under the management of a Korean couple. Hence, the Korean food is the genuine and healthy.

Had high expectations given the good reviews, but was quite disappointed. Although the service was very friendly, the food quality was lacking. Only 3 side dishes. Fried Mandu starter was average. Vegetables in the Bibimbap were not very authentic Korean. The rice in the fried chicken dish was not of good quality. Overall, reasonable for the price but far from anything outstanding. Much better authentic Korean options in Frankfurt.

The service is excellent. The Bimbimbap is massive and so delicious. The side dishes are also good albeit small and from my understanding, not refillable. The price is also very affordable.

However, what let's this place down is that for a Korean restaurant it has such a small selection of Korean foods! Maybe like 5 dishes? The Korean chicken, while having the right taste, is missing the crunchiness that it's known for. Their menu is mainly composed of curries or other Asian foods found commonly at any run of the mill Asian Imbiss found throughout Germany. Of course, I expect those dishes would also taste delicious, but it's not Korean food.

They do also have a Korean lunch special that changes around and I'm keen to give that a shot, but unfortunately only at lunch time.
