Inexpensive, rustic German-Polish garden restaurant at a small private garden plot community on the banks of the Main river. Get there via bike path or on foot, car accessible from main road. Parking ok. Stroll through garden community after lunch or dinner. German and Polish beer selections and tasty specialties.

If you're looking for Polish cuisine the way that Babcia used to make, this is the place. My brother and I (second generation Poles) and my nephew came here for Sunday lunch and ate a selection of meat Pierogi, potato Pierogi, Bigos, Croketta with mushrooms (which came with a bowl of Bartsch) and Gołabki - everything was perfect and brought back memories of Polish meals at home and holidays from way back when. Everything was freshly home-made, and perfectly cooked. Importantly, nothing was over-salted. Great little wine list of German varietals by the glass or bottle. All the food, plus two 0,5l beers and two glasses of wine came to just over €45 for the three of us: that's value. Service came with a smile, and everyone else there seemed enchanted with the food. If you're a Pole, or of Polish descent, you need to come to Zum Nussbaum. Bonus: it's near the airport, so come and have a meal before you fly thusly avoiding over-priced goop.
