This is a great hotel and is well located. It is just a block from the Japanese quarter that has Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian and Greek restaurants. There is also a kiosk 1 block over that has cold drinks, alcohol and cigarettes for sale. A couple blocks in other direction there is a huge supermarket called Crown that has all natural food and products as well as the normals things you would find along with a florist, magazines and a couple of places to get coffee and cooked food you can eat in or take away. The hotel is close to the train station and the underground rail network. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.

A great hotel for a great price at a great location!
My friends and I stayed at the Lindenhof this year for a convention in town. The location is excellent, with Little Tokyo, the main station and other desirable places in walking distance.

Upon check-in, you already get to meet the incredibly friendly staff that are incredibly attentative to your needs and wants.

The rooms aren't the bigget and the building is on the older side, but for a short stay that was not an issue at all. The bed was good and the bathroom spacious enough. There is no AC in the rooms, but because of the hotel's location, the sun doesn't really shine directly into the rooms so that even in the Summer, the room stays sufficiently cool as long as you keep a window open.

Wifi was stable, lift only really fits one person with luggage, or three adults squeezed in.

Breakfast was great, with a selection that is more than sufficient. First time I've had scrambled eggs in a hotel, that actually tasted like scrambled eggs. During breakfast, staff once again highlighted how attentative they were, with all beverage jugs refilled within seconds.

The price is excellent for what the hotel offers and I would highly recommend everyone to stay here.

It was OK, but I believe 3 star was too much. It can be considered as a very good 2 star hotel or average 3 stars.
Staffs were so kind, and breakfast was hmmm OK. Room and bath were too old style

Nice hotel a ways from the altstadt. Close to the main station. The Schumacher Brauerei is kitty corner from hotel. Travelers!! There is a coin op laundry across street! Great breakfast buffet and generally good value hotel.
