Coming from the Mediterranean it's great to find such a place with abundant variety of fresh food and seafood. Prices are reasonable being in Germany, and portions are also generous. They have a large assortment of wine with attractive prices. The terrace is a bit noisy, but the dinner hall inside is truly magnificent and pictoresque. Staff were super friendly, and we cannot but think of going back again soon :)

Disappointed. Oysters are small and not fresh. The main dishes were edible but quite simple. The squids and potatoes were almost swimming in oil. The fish was fried potatoes with bacon - a strange combination. The price of more than 17 euros per dish clearly did not match the quality.

I went here because of the good reputation they have, maybe it was just not to my taste. The dishes were good, but quite salty :(
And somehow the waiter was kind of unfriendly, when he brought the beers to me, and I called him back (I said Hallo politely, not screaming or yelling) to order the main dish, and he didn't reply until the second time, and was looking unfriendly, saying something like "wait a moment". So in the end I didn't tip him a dime. He's a curly hair guy, seems to be kind of in charge too. But those kinds of attitude I don't accept.

The best seafood restaurant, the restaurant is 100 years old, the place is in the heart of Dusseldorf, the service is very wonderful, the taste is more than wonderful, the soup is delicious, the fish of all kinds is fresh and the taste is wonderful. A restaurant worth visiting more than once.

Good food, good wine and super service.
It was so good we came a second time.
The service is outstanding. Such a well oiled machine is hard to find. The quality of the fish is super.

Pleasant atmosphere, kinda like Mediterranean. I had lobster soup with small shrimps---very tasty! And grilled shrimps with rice, curry sauce and mango chutney---I like it in general but the curry sauce was not something I was expecting to taste like. It was a bit bitter but nevertheless it was okay. So many fresh seafood to choose from, and I am glad they also have lobsters and crabs!
