Italian chain restaurant. Like that the pasta is cooked in front of you. Have dined at quite a few around the world but this was the most chaotic, even though the restaurant was fairly quiet. Was lining up in the antipasti line for 10 minutes and wasn’t served. When I asked the pasta servers, was told to wait where I was. Gave up and just joined the pasta queue. There was no spaghetti. Chose another dish and was told it was finished but was missing ingredients. They added in but it seemed they didn’t know what was meant to be included in each dish. I’d only come back if the restaurant was empty!

Good food for an Italian chain style restaurant. Friendly staff. Vegetarian and gluten free options.

Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Enjoyed very much!

We’ve waited 45 minutes for risotto. It was the minimum of cheese I’ve ever seen in risotto and maximum of oil. Only trainee was cooking with gloves and covered hair all the time.
The worst food in Berlin, not worthy for this money and time we had to wait. I guess it explains why this place is empty.
Very disappointing experience.

Was not aware of the concept but tbh, think it is pretty stupid. Queue 3 times instead of zero and still pay restaurant prices. The taste was okay but we queued 20 minutes to get one carpaccio that was just sitting in the fridge (no preparation). We wanted a second one but they did not have anymore of those so we took a salad which was completely drowned in sauce and a bruschetta that was the equivalent of a kid throwing playdo on a ciabatta. The bar guy was nice, the cook was smiling but the guy at the entrance was super rude. Pass your way...

It's a chain but I can't hate on it. For the price of a McDonald's meal you get a pretty decent Italian meal that tastes well and is cooked infront of you. Vapiano is actually better than many Italian restaurants...
