Definitely not the "VAPIANO Experience". They no longer seem to allow ordering with the chef direct. Had to choose from a menu and order at the bar. This took away half the fun of coming to this place. The space is rather congested too, with queues at the bar for ordering filling up the walkway from the entrance to the seating. The staff really pays very little attention to the customers, nor did they seem particularly happy to be there. I guess it's good if you don't want to be disturbed ????. Now the food, well it was okay. But it was underwhelming overall, from presentation to taste. The spaghetti was clumped together with the top over baked and near crispy - almost as if they took a prepped bowl of pasta added in whatever was requested and left under the heat lamp and served with some grated cheese. Hopefully, they bring back the fresh pasta experience. Would recommend it if you are coming off a long journey and just jonesing for some pasta/carbs.
On another note, they do have a bar and a lot of vegan options on the menu.
