Quite nice rooms. Really comfortable bed, especially pillows. Rooms are a little bit hot but both windows can be opened and also blower fan exist. Even an iPad exist as amenities. Coffee machine and tea is available for free at kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay! More way better than we expected.

Horrible room under the roof with maximal noise pollution from the main road Schönhauser Allee. Bad smell from bathroom. Last day no cleaning. High price. Never again.

I booked this Pension based on the positive reviews so I couldn’t have been more shocked to see what we got.

Minus:
- Bathroom smelled horribly and was in need of renovation. Door must be closed at all times to avoid getting the smell out.
- Ground floor, small apartment completely run down. Every wall and furniture was scratched and/or stained.
- One of the two beds was located in the kitchen right next to the bathroom (no warning about this when booking)
- Tap water (known in Berlin for its quality) was undrinkable due to bad taste
- Receptionist acted like receiving guests was a hassle. Explained everything extremely fast and showed us to the place in a hurry.

Plus:
- Breakfast was the only thing living up to the reviews
- Neighborhood is very nice and well connected

The guesthouse was immaculately clean, bathroom state-of-the-art. Staff and proprietor were polite and willing to accomodate. I especially appreciated the location inside a renovated historical building just steps away from where the action is.

Nice place to stay. Very quiet rooms. Great service, nice staff. Breakfast was awesome. Location is very close to everything. Will stay there again.
