Had the best week in Berlin and staying at this hostel made it even better. Amazing staff who are really friendly and happy to help, the double room was a really good size, really comfy bed and had a big window looking down into the courtyard. Really safe, clean and friendly hostel with great facilities and interesting people coming and going. Only downside was that the courtyard closes at 10pm every night because of the hostel's neighbours not being a big fan of the noise , however you can still go out if you're quiet. it was hardly a deal breaker as everything else makes up for it. So glad I chose to make the trip.

We were guests at this hostel last week for 3 nights. The staff was really helpful and kind. The owner of the hostel was especially friendly - even offered help on what to see/do/eat in Berlin (not in just in this area and as a true local - if you're looking for authentic expecience check the programs with this guy!). The rooms price ratio was excellent compared to other hostels and hotels nearby (that's why we choose this place in the first place). The commuting in or out from Berlin's hot spots is easy and convinient (walkable distance multiple bus/tram/subway stops). We rented a room for 2 people and it was just right - there's 4 rooms in each floor with 2 bathrooms and the hostel has an extra bathroom on the "ground" floor next to the reception but we don't have any problem with sharing bathroom. Also the hostel is not that noisy as I expected to be (but anyhow bring earplugs!) The hostel overall was very neat but artsy as well - great mixture! We'll deifinietly going back next year :) Also there's a free luggage room for after-checkout or before-check-in.
Some things what I missed a bit: I think the key system could be improved for more safety(I do think there's lockers). There's no elevator in the hostel and it is 4 floor high. I think better to check with the hostel staff before arraging the visit and I do not recommend who has difficulties with walking or getting up high floors.

Good hostel! I spent my nye at this place ! I was alone but the receptionist were really nice to enough to invite me for drinks and talk to me. However the only issue it would have been if they provided towels lol I do recommend this place

This was my first time in a hostel in Europe and I'm pretty impressed. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. A cheap breakfast is available for purchase that is all you can eat. This meal is mostly things like yogurt, cereal, bread, cheese, fruit, and cold cuts. The bathroom was very clean. The showers are high pressure which is a huge bonus. Just be careful to clean out the hair catch before you hop in. The biggest disappointment is that there is no wifi in your room. Overall it is a great place to stay especially for the price.

As we only had a weekend, it was really great staying in a place situated a few minutes walk from the U-Bahn. The hostel also provided breakfast (at a small additional charge) and sold drinks, postcards and stamps which was handy.

The staff were super friendly, it felt extremely safe and was wonderfully clean. The only downsides were the broken shower (it didn't stay up, so you had to hold it) and the rather uncomfortable beds. I'd definitely recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a cheap and cheerful stay in Berlin.

Very nice hostel - the staff are really friendly and helpful, there's a great atmosphere, the rooms are clean and have what you need. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm which has 2 toilets and showers - fantastic! - and also a twin room on the top floor, which was very quiet and comfortable.

Very nice host (helped us out before arrival) and cool location. Standard of the room is not too high and building is rather old, but they start to renovate now
