Very nice restaurant. Really pleasant, fresh, specious and beautiful interior. All meals were very tasty. Goat cheese salad was served with garlic bread, very delicious and fulfilling, as well as meat was very tasty. As a side salad to meat, you can choose and put the salad yourself from buffet. Good restaurant to eat in Gendarmenmarkt.

Came here to celebrate her birthday ???? We had a bundle of flower and the waiter offered us a vase with water. So friendly. We enjoyed our time here very much!

We "burned" 87 euro in charcoal. We bought a grillplatte for 2, a Rumpsteak 400g.
All the meat came dry and totally overcooked at least half of it was burned to charcoal, my 400g steak tasted bitter and half of it was inedible a total disrespect for the customer.
And when I called the restaurant, they only said that "we will try to do better next time".
Pictures bellow, definitely not worth the money.

For purposes of transparency I got a partial refund from the restaurant a few days after the incident, what I consider fair.

The staff was kind and helpful always when needed (English and German). The salad bar is a really good with a broad variety of options. The main course ir order was just ok. The desert was an ice cream (ok. Nothing special) and I regret not choosing the lava cake instead.
It felt a little bit pricey considering portion sizes.

Their meat was fine, but it dried quickly due to the cold weather. Waiters were attentive and service was fast. It would be better if there was an English menu.

An awesome experience! I had my first date with my boyfriend here and it was so special, the waiting time was super short (Tuesday evening) and we got a cosy corner at the back of the restaurant, which by the end of the evening was super empty.

Our waiter was Thien, a really lovely guy who gave us brilliant recommendations without us even asking! He is also a great salesman, recommending we get a whole bottle of wine, which was the right decision in the end.

I particularly like how he was in a good mood and cared about our wishes. This always makes a big difference to the overall experience. Everything felt super familiar, like old friends ????

The steak was brilliant, the prawn starter was incredible too, and I will definitely be coming back. This is one of the nicer Maredo steak restaurants, as there is a nicer ambience.
The music in the restaurant was also great; with soft pop and jazz.
All in all, a great first date????

We went there for a nice dinner, we had ordered Steaks, for my bf the steak was not really well-done so the waiter got us a lava steak stone ( i think it was lava) and we were then able to enjoy our steaks, For me it was very Delicious, had the ribeye steak ( was recommended by the waiter and it was really delicious ) The wine was also recommended and it tasted perfect with the steak !
