Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you will love it I'm sure!

One of the nicest places I have stayed in Berlin (and I have been to a few). Very friendly u0026 professional staff, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Very central location. I will be back.

Although the price is reasonable and the location is good, the hotel is not worth the hassle. The bed we “slept” on was harder than a rock, meaning that there were a few restless nights. On the second night, the fire alarm went off at 3:30 in the morning because a guest had been smoking in their room. There were no employees to explain what was going on at the time, or where to go, or when it was safe to re-enter. On the third night, there was no hot water, so we showered in ice cold water. When we called the front desk, the employee brushed it off, telling us he “wasn’t a technician” and “couldn’t fix it.” The next morning we came down to the front desk and were told that it was a hotel-wide issue and that they hoped it would be resolved by the end of the day. Luckily it was, and we were lucky to have one last night without anything major go wrong.
There were other little things that were frustrating - we asked for an extra duvet one morning and returned to our room that evening to a king size duvet dumped on our bed that we then had to try and straighten out ourselves so it wasn’t a lumpy mess. We also weren’t told that breakfast was included in our stay when we checked in, which we found out on our second morning. There are no blackout curtains and the room gets bright around 5am.
Do not stay here.

The 3 of us stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed this hotel. Location is supreme, room is clean, beds are comfortable. One complaint is that there was no coffee in our room, there were decaf but who drinks decaf anyway!? We had to go to the lobby if we wanted coffee. Also the pool was not in use for some reason. So just a little bit disappointed in that too. But overall would definitely stay here again!

Hotel on a good location, but unfortunately not the experience we thought we would have.

Next to the train station and most Berlin 'things to see' are nearby. Good breakfast, but this hotel plays a bit dirty trick with that.

From the offer on their own website, the rooms came with 'free breakfast' but after paying and checking the bill, it turns out the breakfast is paid (15 euro without taxes per day).

If this was clearly mentioned, we would not have chosen the breakfast and it would have saved us 100 euro for the 3 days we stayed there.

Also many facilities are closed, not just the swimming pool but also the sauna and restaurant. The bar is open upon request but all the lights are off in the evening.

Friendly staff, but I would not recommend this hotel at the moment as there are many more nice hotels in Berlin.

I arrived late on a weekday on business and receptionist Kirk was very polite and accommodating.
However what was to follow was a once in a decade of constant travelling event.

1) my room on the 8th floor had a loud banging all night from the air conditioning unit, despite me switching it off. Kirk, who was very polite and apologetic in reception, said that sadly this was a problem with the air conditioning and there was no other room for me. I hardly slept all night.

2) as I was getting ready to leave in the morning the closet collapsed right next to me - see pictures. By pure chance I wasn't hurt.

3) despite having the "do not disturb" sign on, the cleaner opened the door at around 8am while I was taking a shower.

I used to travel 100 days per year prior to the pandemic and points 1 and 3 may happen once a year, if that. Point 2 is unprecedented. All three together, this is one for the records.

The location is great but AC wasn't working when it was 35 c out and we got very apathetic service from the front desk.
TV and phone weren't working as well.
Breakfast wasn't really good and honestly nothing about our stay was really good.
It's a 5 stars hotel but don't expect a 5 stars experience.

Decent hotel, good proximity to everything and friendly front end staff. Just didn't wow me like I expected. The room itself was muggy, bed was not comfortable and I could hear the lobby from our window facing the atrium. I would probably try somewhere different next time.
