Fantastic location, and the rooms were nice as well. The one star review is because the staff we interacted with were frankly atrocious.
Our room did not have a working AC panel, so we called the front desk and they sent someone to check on it the next morning. That person reviewed the situation, and said that the machine itself was broken, not the panel, and they could not fix it. No worries there, I understand that these things happen. To get the new situation resolved, we talked to whoever was running the check-in desk the night of the 23rd, and tried to explain what was going on. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a language barrier, but they honestly seemed like they couldn't care less about our problem, cut us off midway through trying to explain it, and said they would go and check it out themselves. When we tried to explain again that someone had already checked it out and said it could not be fixed, they just kept cutting us off until we gave up and left. They also did not actually come check, so it seems like they just lied to us to make us leave.
Pretty unbelievable that a hotel with this good of a location and nice rooms couldn't find staff who at least pretend to care.
