Location is great for transport links and access to Berlin. Unfortunately the trams are incredibly noisy and there isn't double glazing to block out the noise. Street is home to a hospital so sirens blare regularly throughout the night with the trams. We arrived mid morning and it seemed a room hadn't been set aside for us as they asked whether we wanted single beds or not. Went and got changed and while showering a cleaning staff member came straight into our room and was a little surprised to see one of us (the other was in the shower). No knock at the door or anything. Complained at reception and they told us we could put a do not disturb sign on the door. Not the point. Room was spacious but tired. Bathroom had been redone but shower tiny and kept knocking the fawcett. Overall its cheap but I wouldn't reccomend it from a noise perspective. Better to go elsewhere.

Feels like a really rundown hotel. Rooms are extremely dreary and outdated. Furniture looks like it has seen better days. Carpets throughout the building have stains on them. There does not appear to be free WiFi available. Staff at the front desk just don't seem interested when you have a request or question. Overall a really poor hotel in an area full of great ones. I will avoid in future. And I recommend others do the same.

Arrived for a weekend away with friends late on Friday. Check in was completed quickly and politely. Was at first disappointed to find I was on the top floor, however I was pleasantly surprised to find I had been assigned a Privelege Room, which was probably bigger than the ground floor of my house. Had a separate bedroom and living room area, two balconies as well as ensuite bathroom. Room was clean, modern and bed was comfortable. Nice views of the TV Tower from my room.

My top would be to not bother with breakfast at the hotel, as there is a little bakery/breakfast cafe next door which does a very nice French breakfast for 6 euro. They also do a full meat/cheese selection which still undercuts the 18 euro in the hotel.

Was very happy with my stay and would happily go back. Even without the privilege room.

It's a clean and well-maintained hotel with comfortable rooms. It's location is a huge advantage. The view is not bad. Not much noise even though the rooms face a large avenue (other than sirens every two minutes). Wi-Fi is a little poor in connection quality. But in general, an excellent performance-price ratio for the average traveller.

Average. Process of checking in was a nightmare due to what seems like poor communication amongst the team but got sorted out so all good. Rooms are basic and no air conditioning - keep this in mind, was 25-30 degrees when we visited and was pretty uncomfortable at night. Bathroom ok but again. Bit tired, carpet in our room was dirty, needed a good steam clean. Staff overall were helpful - would recommend booking the open top bus tour, good value and can be booked from the hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located and the employees at check-in were wonderful. I have a few complaints about the room. First there was mold in the shower stall. This is not acceptable. The room otherwise was very clean. When the window is open the AC does not work. This makes sense, however on a day where temperatures reached 88 F the cleaning lady opened the window during the room service and did not close it. I returned to a very warm room.

This is the worse Accor hotel I have ever stayed in, Accor should remove the name Mecure from it. Regular travellers who rely on the brand to provide a certain level of service will be horrified if they book this, I feel we were mis sold based on what we experienced. The hotel
Is located on what must be the noisiest road ever, all
Day and night cars, trams and emergency vehicles race up and down the rd. it’s located quiet central to Alexandra Platz but in a very dirty run down part. The hotel reception staff should be all sacked, not one of them want to be there, they begrudgingly provide any service and are truly the most miserable reception staff I have ever encountered . The hall ways are dirty, filthy carpets with a mouldy smell throughout. The rooms have a touch of Mecure standards, the only positive thing was the bathroom had been recently refurbed and the shower was excellent. There is no mini fridge, no air con just old furniture and curtains and dirty carpets..
We stayed for breakfast but don’t waste your money, the area is not clean, people dropping serving spoons on the floor and staff not replacing them, worse coffee machine and fruit juices dispenser empty or incorrectly filled up..apple in the orange etc.
The bar area is hidden by the side of the reception but you are highly discouraged to use it, being told it is closed as they have no clean glasses, no draught beer and very limited choice for spirits. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told that there wasn’t one, hence why the place is so
Awful! Save your money and book elsewhere
