There are lots of decent currywurst and even some really good ones on the streets in another shops and is I've sampled most of them. They have redeeming qualities and some even have great attributes but Gaffel Haus has a very delicious and unique twist to their curry sauce that puts it above the rest.

In addition to this, the staff the service, the ambiance of this place is so much fun. So helpful and kind, attentive and caring.

This is a low key. Must visit great place in Berlin. Lyft will now be a staple for all return visits.

Excellent restaurant. Traditional German cuisine, and they also have a classic East Berlin potato soup which is delicious. Pork knuckle was moist and perfectly crispy on the outside. Mashed potatoes were PERFECT, a must-try.

Really good German food and drinks. Their staff is friendly, and the restaurant is cozy.

Their service is fast and efficient.

Dessert is a most! ????????????????????????????????????

Definitely not the last time visiting.

Went here twice while staing in the nearby Maritim Hotel. The food was excellent and the beer (Kolsch) is superb. Very friendly staff. Great decore. I'd highly recommend the schwenhaxe and or the schnitzel cordon blue. The pork slice is agreat too... more like bacon than pork, but a huge portion and served with delicious gravy and mouth watering mashed potatoes. Suggest you finish your meal with either the Kebekuss or the Schwester Herz!!

Well worth a visit.

Koln drinking tradition: 0.2l thin tall glass, finish it, they will refill. Once enough, cover the empty glass with the coaster and they'll tally the total cost. Cosy, great beer and food.

All three dishes I've ordered were really tasty, especially I liked the soljanka, it's almost the same as back home, definitely can recommend.
