Usually I’m not too hard to please when it comes to coffee and have found Einstein to be a reliable place to go but this experience was anything but good.

I ordered iced decaf, what I got was this watery cup of wannabe Frappuccino that was very much not decaf.
I don’t drink decaf because it’s trendy but because my body cannot handle the caffeine, I asked twice to make sure and was assured they used decaf beans. After telling them that it didn’t look like what I ordered they repeated my order back to me, correctly, obviously thinking that everything was fine and clearly not wanting to spend more time on it.

I wouldn’t say that my expectations for overpriced train station coffee are high, they are immeasurably higher than this though.

Einstein Kaffee offers good quality coffee for a perfect start of a day. Their tart and cakes are okay to try.

The service was super quick, the staff was incredibly nice and friendly, we talked while they made my coffee. The cappuccino tasted great and the carrotcake is even better. I would definitely come back here

A berlin classic, the Einstein at Berlin Mainstation delivers well-known quality not only in coffee terms. You will find several other drinks and food as well (sweets as well as small lunch/dinner opportunities). The service is up to standard and matches both quickness and quality in delivery. It's my go-to destination within the mainstation to get quality coffee!
