Zero customer service oriented, unfriendly, impolite. I wonder why you have this kind of employees there when they are clearly non qualified for nor willing to deal with tourists.

Berlin is a wonderful place to be. I visited as a group and we only got the city ticket which entails the busses, trams and Bahns. With these, we visited almost everywhere. We hopped on the bus buses with double decks and moved around the big city.
This is one way to save money as well.
Ensure to plan all the places to visit. Berliners are friendly and open also.

Older guy with the hat staying behind the desk was very rude and unwelcoming, you work at a tourist info place and you don't have patience to answer simple questions, very annoying, i suggest that he will be happier in another industry.

Get the Berlin welcome card first thing you are in Berlin as a tourist especially when you have kids w you. The card entitled kids to travel for free on public transport for free w you. It offers a lot of discount at many tourist sites. Great deal!

Rude and unhelpful
We asked the lady serving us to help register for the Reichstag building as we had not been able to do it on our smart phones. She looked on the website and found availability and then said, 'I could register you now, but it would take 15 minutes - just go to the building you will get in'. I again tried straight away on my mobile and couldn't find availability.
Anyway we trudge across town to the on site registration office and of course the line coming out of it is 50m long. ....needless to say we didn't get to visit the building.
Try avoid this lady in the info office - she had crooked eyes so you'll spot her easy.

The welcome card was just meaningless. We couldn't use it for the any of the museums we visited and the cooperative restaurants were rare to be found in our journey. For transportation day-tickets will be even cheaper, and for museums student card (if you have one) will make better discount.
