Hands down the best truffle pasta I had in Berlin! The starters and the mains were excellent, 10/10 would recommend. The atmosphere inside is really nice, but the summer terrace is quite cute too. It is really pricey, but I would definitely say it‘s worth it for the taste and experience that you‘ll get.

Great evening with a sour-taste.
We had a wonderful evening at Cecconi's. The food, is and must be the best in town for a classy Italian restaurant.

The service was top-notch. The food, all dishes, regardless what was served, outstanding. Great kitchen, fantastic Italian cuisine.

After we have paid we checked the bill (stupid mistake).
The service just asked in the beginning, sparkling or still water. Afterwards, they were permanently refilling the water glasses. However, they never mentioned that a water bottle 0.7L is 8EUROs.

Further, given the size of the group we had to choose a set-menu which is common. However, we outlined we have 3 veggies (out of 12). Nevertheless, even the waiter realised that there is almost nothing veggy and they offered free-of-charge dishes to accommodate our veggy folks.

Cecconi's realized it was a B-Day and even served a nice cake.

Anyhow, we were charged for the veggy stuff and the cake. Ultimately we paid 128Euro for Water. Poor communication and overpriced. Last but not least, extra bread to dip a bit into olive oil, 9Euro.

We were from Zurich and we are used to this price-scale. However, good service communicates well and does not have a debate that we understood something wrong. Given the total amount paid, hilarious discussing about few Euros. And this makes the difference between an extra-ordinary restaurant and overpriced hipster average with an amateur management.

It’ll always be my favourite Italian restaurant in Berlin ♥️ the staff are super friendly and helpful, they + the unbelievably delicious food are making the restaurant incomparable ♥️

A very nice dinner with some caveats.
1) Food is delicious - great Pizza, Pasta, Secondos, desert;
2) Interior is nice - open Pizza oven and bar;
3) Prices are relatively high (recognizing the food quality but still);
4) Service not ‘zuvorkommend’ but rather transactional (we didn’t order drinks to start with and afterwards were never asked for wine or similar orders);
5) if you are sitting inside, the open kitchen is quite smelly;
So, all in all: liked the quality of food, but given the setting, I am likely not coming back.

If you want to have a special evening, Cecconi‘s is always a good choice. The pizzas are especially good. My only complaint would be that the tables are only reserved for 2 hours. A bit longer would be nice.

We had dinner here this evening and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Berlin. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and we were especially impressed by the service from Wayne. He made excellent recommendations and was very friendly (and fun!). We’re definitely coming back and will recommend it to anyone looking to have a memorable night out.
