Part of the Humboldt Forum. A small collection but expertly curated.

For a free museum, this place is not all that bad. The artworks however are lacking.

The pieces are actually very promising but unless you are an art specialist about ancient American cultures, Chinese, Korean and Japane Art, you won't know much about them here.
There's not very much information about anything; when there seems to be, it's in German. I used the Audio Guide in English and found only two audio spots.
The staff is rude and uneducated. They don't tell you about the closed Asian Art room in the ground floor and you can only find out about it when you have the ticket.
Very disappointing.

Really nice museum with a very interesting collection. If you are into Zen and Wabi Sabi. The is the place for you! The staff are very friendly! Pity the ground floor was closed.

(Translated by Google) It's a great place.. you need to spare at least 3 hours. You can get information about Asian civilizations. I haven't seen North Asia. I could not come across the north of the Mughals, the uyghurs. I said the Mongols would come out, it didn't come out much. The rest is great.. I gave my hours, I came out in awe

(Translated by Google) Very nice free exhibition with Indian, Chinese and Japanese exhibits.
*
Unfortunately, the audio guide (own mobile phone, without installation :-) ) didn't quite fit the order of the exhibition, which isn't that bad.
*
Bags and backpacks are not allowed in, but there are free lockers and toilets on the 1st floor (handicapped accessible and baby changing room).
