Wonderful hut, beautifully done up (mind you, it's still work in progress!) - the giant pretzel ???? is amazing! Definitely worth a visit

This place its really nice to rest half way to the top and eat some quality food.

I ate some traditional weißwurst and it was delicious and at a reasonable price for a restaurant.

The service was also good but what I really enjoyed was the beautiful view from the mountains. You can see the city of Füssen and the lakes nearby.

Dishes came before drinks. They forgot one meal, so we had to wait.
The where busy, so thats maby an excuse.
Food was ok. Standard i would say and of course german.
Prices was a litle to high, but it was on a mouten so guess that prices allways are a litle higher in these places.
Anyways 3 stars would have been more correct, but because they was busy and mixed up the orders i only give 2 ????
I am sure it is 3 next time

Unfortunately, I cannot share the opinion of my fellow reviewers with regards to service. The staff was slow, not very helpful and seemingly annoyed by our sheer presence. It took one hour from ordering to actual delivery. The käsespätzle were more spätzle than käse. The service really did not do credit to the beautifully located cabin.

Very nice staff. Great beer and hot chocolate. Even in the rain a cosy place to stay.
