Kontumazgarten is one of the most relaxing garden in the city, beautiful playground which suitable for babies, toddlers and small children. There are banks along the Pegnitz where you can sun bathing while watching the kids playing, or other chairs among the garden which you can move around to your favorite spot to relax. On the other side there’s narrow path where kids can also practice riding bicycles or in-line skates, it is not so many bicycles riding through this park. This is one of gardens and playgrounds that we visit often at the weekend in the summer and autumn. It hides behind the big street, so even at the weekend it’s not so busy and crowded like other places. After having fun time with kids, if you don’t bring your own food and drinks for picnic, on the other side of the garden under the bridge there’s a coffee shop called Schnepperschütz where you can have a cold beer and very good German Brotzeit.
