A wonderful restaurant that offers traditional Bavarian cuisine (+ Austrian influence), creative seasonal flavors and a hell of a wine selection (implied by name!)

While we always enjoy trying the changing tasting menu, you can never go wrong with the Wiener Schnitzel (veal) or the Truffle Chicken Frikassee.

It’s worth mentioning that the staff is always friendly and helpful regardless if you are a local or a visitor in town.

Food was good. Don’t know what to order but the lady recommended a few must-have local dishes so I just went along with it. No regrets. Love their Christmasy decor.

This restaurant has this special beautiful Bavarian vibe, a very nice wine selection and lovely staff.
Food was very good, we loved the pan fried char, the duck breast was beautifully cooked and was préfères without the sauce.
Of course the “Kaiserschmarrn” is a must try as well!
Recommended!

Exceptional service, decor and food. Arriving a little after my reservation due to a delayed flight, and dining much later into the evening than I would normally when travelling alone, I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and very well provided for...a first class Negroni, delicious main course and good coffee...all swiftly ordered and served with impecible style within the hour. The restaurant is refined, beautiful, traditional and atmospheric.

Nice wine list with staff that know their stuff. All their recommendations were great. Fish and boiled beef was also very nice! Really enjoyed the bread and butter as well. Super nice old restaurant with lots of charm. Great place for a solid dinner in Munich!
