like most of skateparks in Munich, they are mostly designed for skateboarding. There is no even one coping box or simple rail! shame. Ledges are good quality.

I would give it a 4, but skateparks are too rare here in Munich. More of a skateboard place but ledges are semi-ok for blading aswell.

It's like Venice Beach. There are cruisers, longboarders, surf skaters, inliners, BMXers, kiteboarders, roller skaters, scooters and also street skaters who have not been there for 20 years. They make up 95% there. All of them have nothing at all to do with the few challenging obstacles on the southern part of the meadow. At this point, how cool would be a transportable mini, a sensible Vertramp and, above all, a pump track that can be used by everyone. Maybe even several. Because there really is a demand. Everything would not have been expensive for a city like Munich if it could be removed for the Wiesn just as easily as the granite obstacles, which can only be used by every 20th person. So my criticism is not directed at the park itself, but at its one-sidedness. The park was simply planned without considering the enormous needs of casual skaters on site.

Es macht einfach Sinn, schon bei der Planung Probleme mit spielenden Kleinkindern zu minimieren. Aber man darf halt die Realität trotzdem nicht ganz ausser Acht lassen. Die Theresienwiese zieht an schönen Tagen tausende Skater an. Da geht es zu, wie in Venice Beach. Da sind Cruiser, Longboarder, Surfskater, Inliner, BMXer, Kiteboarder, Rollerskater, Scooter und auch Streetskater, die noch nicht schon 20 Jahre dabei sind. Die machen dort 95% aus. Die alle haben überhaupt nichts von den paar anspruchsvollen Obstacles am Südteil der Wiese. Wie geil wäre an dieser Stelle zusätzlich eine transportable Mini, eine vernünftige Vertramp und vor allem für alle nutzbar ein Pumptrack. Vielleicht sogar mehrere. Denn es bestünde wirklich Nachfrage. Alles wäre für eine Stadt wie München nicht teuer gewesen, könnte für die Wiesn genauso einfach entfernt werden, wie die Obstacles aus Granit, die für nur jeden 20. nutzbar sind. Meine Kritik gilt also nicht dem Park an sich, sondern der Einseitigkeit. Der Park ist schlicht und einfach am enormen Bedarf der Casual Skater vor Ort vorbei geplant worden.
