Ruff's Burger Stachus

We recently had dinner at Ruff's Burger along Schützenstraße. This is a pretty good burger joint in between Karlsplatz and München Hbf that is open from 11.30am until late each evening.

You'll find indoor and outside seating. Order at the counter from a short menu of burgers, sides, fries and drinks. Of note, service at the counter wasn't particularly friendly when we arrived. The young lady snapped at us when taking our order. She then seemed exasperated when we paid with a high denomination Euro note, yet had no trouble providing change so we weren't sure what problem was. Regardless, this made us feel uncomfortable prior to receiving our order.

As for our orders, the burgers were pretty good. We tried the Ruff's burger with blue cheese and the BBQ double burger. Both were grilled nicely at medium to medium rare with a bit of pink middle. Patties were juicy with a nice beef flavour. Toppings were fresh and of good taste. Unfortunately, the burger juice made the bun rather soggy half through eating, that wasn't nice. This happens sometimes with juicy burgers. Otherwise, we really like the burgers grilled up at Ruff's Burger.

Beyond the poor service at the counter, we enjoyed our meal and would consider eating at a Ruff's burger branch again during future trips to Munich.

My new favorite burger place has come!
Inside is clean, wide and cozy.
Outside is always very full but you can try.

You must take time to choose your burger cause there are a lot of type of burgers. Those are used different sauce so you’ll fell you have to visit here again to try to taste other one.

Price is not too high, not too low. Typical price in Munich.
I wanted to have a French fries by sweet potato but they don’t have... instead of it, they have several dips for fries.
Not so much drunk menu ( I guess only bottles)

Had avocado burger, tender juicy meat and sauce goes well with the burger. Beef burger was juicy and delicious too. Loved the sweet potato fries!

Would definitely come again!

The burger itself was great, I had the vegan one with salsa and guacamole. However the bun was dripping wet in some parts and dry and tough in others(a bit stale?). The wet is probably due to the salsa, which I didn't mind, but overall I ended up leave the bun. Chips were good.

Nice staff. It's a good place but I might not have the same type of bun in future.

Awesome pastrami deluxe burger. Absolutely juicy and of quality. Sweet corn is good too. Price is fair.

Got a veggie burger with fries and coke - didn't regret
The bread was especially tasty and the flavours really felt like it was homemade
And the fries just tasted amazing ????????????
Definitely recommend it

Amaziiiiiiiing burgers! Juicy, yet crunchy. Fresh taste and at no point I thought that the burgers were “re-heated”.
On top of that, the woman who helped us was super friendly which only made the experience the best in-class ???????? Definitely a big recommendation if you love burgers!!!
