There are several small palaces located within Nymphenburg Park grounds including the small Pagodenburg on the shore of Kleiner Lake. Opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily (April to Mid-October). The palace is closed from Mid-October to March.

Here you find a early 18th-century building by German architect Joseph Effner. The exterior is that of French Rococo style and is very attractive.

The interior is made of two floors. The ground floor is covered wall to wall, ceiling and floor with Dutch tiles from Delft fashioned in the manner of Chinese style blue-and-white images and scenes. It is stunningly beautiful and photogenic.

The upper floor is also Chinese in style. Here you can peer into two drawing rooms lined darker coloured wallpaper and lacquer painting. This is also very beautiful and worth spending a few minutes to enjoy.

To enter you can purchase a Park Palace ticket (€4.50 per person) which provides access to four palaces in the Nymphenburg Park grounds including Amalienburg, Badenburg and Magdalenenklause.

Alternatively you can purchase the full combo ticket (€11.50 per person) which includes access to the Nymphenburg Palace, Marstall (Stagecoach) and Porzellen (Porcelain) museums as well.

Exotic palace in lovely place with cleverly designed interior. This place worth your visit. Price to get inside €4.50 for all palaces located in complex or €9.00 for all palaces + museums. Don't forget to Thank You a staff member on the way out as they are always nice and helpful.

We loved it very well, beautiful majolika tiles, def worth the walk through the park and the drive to Nymphenburg castle, in the west of Munich. This is the summer castle of the former Bavarian electors and kings till 1918

We came here on our last day in Munich and was not disappointed. The park is beautiful and great to walk through on a sunny day. The ducks are also fun to watch.

I payed for the entrance but the villa was closed although it was written that it is open. I don't recommend to visit it.

An awesome little addition to the palace experience. Often totally and fully unfairly missed by tourists, as it kind pretty far from the main palace. Still it is absolutely worth a visit.
