One of the interesting things to see within the Schlosspark Nymphenburg grounds is the 19th-century Greek style pavilion located along the shore of Badenburger See (Baden Lake).
This is a circular-shaped stone temple with bronze roof, supported by Corinthian pillars. The temple was built by Leo von Klenze (1862-65). You can walk pedestrian trails to the temple to view its decorative interior and spend time up close enjoying the temple. It is nice place to have a brief rest enjoying the lovely lake scenery and environs at this location in the park.
Being situated along the waterfront, the temple can be seen very well from Badenburg Palace across the lake. You can take great pictures of the Apollo Temple from this location.
