What a great staff, location, and nifty hotel! The staff went the extra 100 kilometers to make our stay superb. They helped support us in our check-in, make sure we were well established, donated to Ukraine based on stay choices, and helped with little needs we had along the way. It worked well for three people in the size fo the room,--Only suggestion is an optional curtain or "stick on window cover" for bathroom glass door---it was a little awkward for mixed-gender friends. Otherwise, superb location, great staff, excellent breakfast, GREAT coffee machine, and fun experience.

Stayed here for one night. The room needs to be refreshed — I saw at least three large carpet stains, and the furniture was quite worn with marks. I didn’t ask for a different room anymore as I arrived late in the evening and the other rooms may be in a similar condition. But giving three stars as the staff were nice enough

This hotel is a mess. The rooms are old and neglected. The rooms are small but the space is not used smartly. I asked to change mine because the shower had almost no water pressure and the shower head was broken. I was given an even worse room in the backyard that looked like something from a horror movie. When I checked out, the guy in the reception said it was his first day, so he didn't know how to use the booking system and would send me the invoice per E-Mail. At least this worked properly! I give them one star for this! Never again.

We were supposed to stay for four nights, but left after one. Hotel rooms were outdated and with an awful interior design. Besides the old worn out furniture and two single beds instead of the double (in our superior room), the bathroom was literally right next to the bed, and the film on the glass door was striped, meaning you could look right through and onto the toilet and whoever was sitting there. Unwelcoming service at the reception, and an impossible small parking space at the back. Location was the only good thing.

I like this place, have stayed here several times, the location is great - the staff are super friendly and rooms are comfy and quiet - and it’s exceptional value

Wouldn't recommend staying here. And if you must, avoid room 511 if possible. Sounds like there is an old run-down water pump in the room next door that noisily runs every 30 minutes or so. Or maybe it's just toilets from upstairs. Hard to tell. But anyway, this continues THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT! Thin walls and cheap wooden doors without any sound-proofing don't help either. Staff seems nice, but for someone who needs some actual sleep at night it's simply unacceptable.

Clean and nice, close to University district. Short walk to Metro with access to Marianplatz and everywhere else.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Omfortable bed. Pleasant stay.
