Juliet Capulet Statue

This bronze statue is of Shakespeare’s heroine from Romeo and Juliet and was a gift from the city of Verona in 1974. It's a like-sized statue and depicts her standing with a neutral expression and wearing a long thin gown.

The statue is fairly popular with tourists and locals alike, who like to rub her right breast for good luck. Something that makes the statue stand out as her right breast has a notable shine compared to the rest of the statue. People also like to garnish her with flowers.

Dint know about but saw the crowds when I was passing by... google it straight away and caught my attention....
Had to wait for sometime to have a clear picture as so many people come by...

The Juliet Capulet Statue was a gift to the city of Munich from the city of Verona in 1974. It is situated just beside the Altes Rathaus near Sparkassestrasse.

The statue is a replica of the original in Verona. You'll quickly notice the shiny right breast, which has been rubbed by countless visitors over the years, supposedly for good luck.

Have a quick look if you enjoy monuments and while spending time around Marienplatz or Viktualienmarkt. You'll find a handful of fountains and other monuments in the area as well.

Nothing special, people sit on the step in front of her so you can't see it properly which was annoying.

Small statue on the side of the clocktower of the Old Town Hall. It could be easy to miss particularly if it's really busy. It has nice features and looks nice.
