They provide a seriously lacking service in Munich and the nerd in me appreciates their store very much. They have a decent collection for games, trinkets, household goods for the geeky shopper. I would love to see a wider selection of clothing items for females. The last few times I've gone most of the clothing has been XL. Other than that, I always feel welcome and enjoy the relaxed environment and fun decor.

An amazing little geeky shop with a lot to choose from. They had figures, puzzles, door mats, key rings, bags, and other various collectors items. I will definitely be going back from time to time to buy things.

Stayed for a business trip in Munich and ended up with spending all my free time in the item shop. It's just such an awesome place.

You can feel the love they've put into this. There's Easter eggs and lil homages everywhere - if you care to look for them and stay a while to talk to the staff (they call themselves the NPCs *heart* and they've got an endboss and miniboss).

Their loot is mostly what you'd expect from a nerd/geek merchant but in some cases they differ from common known merchants and offer treasure from lesser known fandoms. Which is great.

Another thing I personally like: this place is busting with pride, but in such a subtle way that it is not "in your face" everywhere. If you look for it you will find it and what you'll find is so cute and wholesome that you just feel at home. Like I did.

That's maybe the thing that describes the Item Shop as it's best:
For some it is just "another store" where you can buy stuff you'd find online as well.
For others this place can be a safe haven where you can just be who you are, with no pressure or the expectation from the staff that you "have to" buy something. Just: get in there, sit down, listen to awesome fandom music, have a nice chat with the NPCs (I guarantee: they can speak more than one line) and - have a good time.

Wonderful place to explore and shop your heart out. Really great staff and a relaxed atmosphere as well. It's in a nice neighborhood as well so it's easy to stop by here during a sightseeing trip in Munich.

Loved seeing so many wonderfully geeky items that were familiar to us after just moving to Germany from the U.S. They had Asahi in the fridge, which reminds me of my favorite sushi restaurant in Salt Lake City. You can snag a box of Twinkies from the back of the store. And for our anniversary I snagged my hubby a How I Met Your Mother-inspired condom near the register ;).
