Very good hotel. Close to the centre, great breakfast buffet with a lot of options. You can order special coffies or hot chocolate. The parking garage right next to it has a deal with them for cheap parking. All in all a ver- good hotel and affordable.

We needed to spend a night before our flight.
The service at reception was very quick and nice.
The room is fine, there is a cute balcony, a bathtub, clean sheets and towels.
No complaints at all.
Also the location is great, very close to the center.

The customer service here is terrible. I brought a big group of guests at this hotel and got insulted by this inexperienced and stressed front desk agent, who complained after I gave him a couple of phone calls to ask him simple questions… Frankly, that is his job!!! On top of this, the internet doesn’t work properly. If you don’t want to be dealing with bad service, then simply do not come at this hotel.

Really nice and comfy hotel in munich city center. Pretty room for a great price. The breakfast offers a great start in a day. The breakfast staff is really friendly and helpful. Looking forward for the next visit.

We loved Nuremberg, and if you're going to stay there, Hotel Isartor is an excellent choice! As usual throughout our time in Germany, the hotel staff was friendly. The hotel is very safe, as you have to turn in your keys when you step out, and they buzz you in when you return. The reception is open 24 hours, and is on the first floor (which in Europe means the first floor above ground level, a.k.a. the second floor in the U.S.). There is a lift so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are spacious enough, with good water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast was above par, as it included a hot dish (scrambled eggs) as well as the usual European continental breakfast fare. The location was excellent, as we found many sights and great restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful and hotel is well situated for the more popular parts of Munich. Breakfast was a bit of disappointment, and even though it wasn't particularly hot for the time of year, the room was very hot and there is no air conditioning.
