Very nice zoo where you can see a lot of wild animals from different continents. The zoo isvery suitable for the kids as there are many playgrounds inside

A must trip when in or around munich. The staff are very friendly and animals well looked after. Gate prices are very resonable, food and drink are a little expensive so maybe better to take your own with you. All in all for our family it was a great day out.

The München zoo is so much better then it used to be 5 years ago!! The animals have more room and they look happier. The playgrounds are for older children but very nice and if you go in the morning during the week it’s not to full !! Food is okay but you can bring a Picknick!! My son is 2 and he loves the zoo!

Best entrance ever to Munich zoo. So close to the Isar river and so close to park and reach if you come with the car. You right at the giraffes they basically just around the corner.

Great Zoo in Munich. Prices are fair. Kids will have Fun at one of the many playgrounds.

I'd recommend visiting this place during the week days.

The park and the nature in it were amazing, inside the zoo you have lots of bars where you can get drinks or some small bites during your stay. The zoo itself wasn't what I was really expecting since I heard previously (from people in Munich, while I was wondering as a turist asking what to visit) that it is more focused on animal freedom and was more like their natural habitat. I was explained that they are separeted by the region they come from with other animals from the same region living freely all together in a big space, but instead it was just a regular zoo. So if you are looking to visit a zoo this is the right place, if you however were interested in seeing more of a sanctuary than you will be disapointed unfortunately.
