Very authentic and delicious German food! I’ve tried other restaurants but this one tastes the best. The pork knuckle is so good and everything is flavorful and delightful.

I would say this is very authentic and patronised by many locals, defo not a tourist trap. Great food! Love their crispy duck with potato dumplings!!! Very busy place but they still maintained good service! Recommended!

Great place to have a beer in a traditional atmosphere! The beer was really good with a singular taste! A must go if you're in Munich!

It's hard to be disappointed with a restaurant that serves beer by the liter in the middle of Munich. Even more so when the food is pretty good and the service is even better. All things considered, Donisl was an emergency stop for our family to quell the screams of a HANGRY 4-year old (and make them easier to tolerate with a Maß), that ended up being a nice little break. Would recommend for sure.

First time here and was already in love. I was about to get a little bored with Hofbräuhaus when I stumbled into this fine medium size beer hall. Their edel bier tastes very good! I love Hacker-Pschorr brewery!

Step in here to experiences Bayern Style Sunday, with locals wearing traditional attire and playing harp while drinking beer since 10.30.

This time we had the spicy sausages and bayern style fritata. But I am sure we will come back for more.

One extra tips : they have vegan friendly menu :》

Not tourist friendly esp. if you are not fluent in German. Plat du jour cheap, expensive and not tasty (oily meat and cold salad). Service minimal. Not an address to recommend. Rather try Ratskeller which is nearby.

The food was very good, but the staff are crazy. The do not take the order, you are waiting a lot and after they give your food to another people! unbelievable!!!
