Fairly priced hotel for overall quality of stay and rooms. I give two stars because of inconsistent quality of service. At first, we were assigned a non smoking room which smelled heavily of cigarettes but the gentleman on night duty switched our rooms immediately and it was highly appreciated. The evening before check-out, we requested for a late check-out, specifically at 13.00 which we were assured is fine for the hotel. However, upon check-out the next day, we were met with an unfriendly gentleman on day shift who immediately started the interaction with a very unfriendly, "you are late". During this interaction, I clarified that we had requested a late check out during the evening before. He didn't seem to want to accept this fact and continued with, "yes but it's 12.45pm and the hotel is fully booked" almost implying that the guests are at fault here rather than the faulty communication between employees of this hotel. Even if there was a miscommunication, which may happen at times, it is unjustified and unacceptable to treat hotel guests in such unfriendly manner. The last interaction has left us with a bitter taste and we would not return to this particular hotel in the future.
