We were lucky enough to have lunch here on a beautiful sunny day so we had a table outside. The restaurant was really busy and it seemed like they only had about two waiters serving all the outdoor tables. It took a long time to get our food. We had the asparagus soup, the schnitzel, and crispy roast pork. The beer was excellent! Overall a very nice meal in the Marienplatz and a much better atmosphere than the popular restaurant across the street.

The beer was DELICIOUS, the plate was HUGE and the service was excellent! Bug shout out to the waitress Michèle, as she kind and patient with every single customer.

We did not have reservations but the restaurant was able to sit a party of three in the bar area without issue. The service was incredibly friendly. We opted to have some “snacks” and a few beers. Beers were quite good and the fried potatoes and krautsalat were amazing. Would definitely return.

Quaint restaurant with lovely decor and staff is clad in traditional clothing.
Portions are hearty but not cumbersome.
I enjoyed my selection of beef consommé soup with toast and deliciously rich venison steaks. Prosecco cocktails are not to be missed. I also highly recommend zesty fresh rhubarb shörle.

I had the KÄSE-KRAUTSPÄTZLE which comes with a nice refreshing salad.
Recommended especially if you're vegetarian. The taste is very similar to mac and cheese. I think some pickles could improve the taste significantly. But overall enjoyable meal.

The place is located close to all the main attraction so it's very convenient stop in a middle of a day tour of the city.

However, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. The food is ok but definitely nicer in a proper beer garden as well as cheaper.

Great beer, lovely food, well decorated with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would recommend this over the 'tourist trap' across the road.
