Nice place for a walk and sightseeing but in winter there’s nothing really interesting or exciting to see (unless you wanna see ice), even the Biergarten was closed. Be careful to not slip and break your head.

While this park features a fine fountain and a pleasant view of the Palace of Justice, it was festooned with uncollected garbage and overflowing bins when we visited.

Alas, unfortunately, it also seems to be a hotspot for Munich's homeless population. It isn't their fault but it does lend a rather unfriendly air to the place.

Nice sculpture. Too many homeless though in the area to really enjoy it.

The cafe is an excellent place to ‘waste’ a couple of hours if you’re at Munich Central station and have some time to kill. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the station. There are two seating areas - one for self service and the other for table service. The food is excellent - it’s way above being a cafe - along with a wide range of beers and wines. I recommend the ribs!

Pretty park if you're not a girl and if you enjoy things that are clean. The scenery and care to the flowers is great, but it's home to the least amicable and welcoming part of society. You can get wifi from the nearby university though

This is a nice place to spend an afternoon in Munich. Located right outside of the city center you can sit and relax while enjoying a beer at the Biergarten.
