A lovely hidden gem with excellent service and delicious food. We dined for dinner outside and it was quiet and intimate. Had the daily special, seared tuna, and though Asian, it had a unique and outstanding preparation.

Very friendly staff, good food quality, but some items on the menue are overpriced for what you get. The interior design is nice, but overall I got the typical hotel atmosphere feeling there. Therefore, more suited for business meetings than for a relaxed private gathering in my opinion.

You cannot go wrong with Sophia's at the Charles hotel. Nick in the bar made excellent conversation and was very informative. They all make exceptional drinks, much better than any bar at home in the U.S. seriously. A+

Well located in the middle of city centre. Friendly staff who are well informed about their menus. Enjoyed the summer evening during business dinner

We stayed in the hotel, and went to Sophie's out of convenience. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable, and friendly. The cooking was not up to snuff for such a pricey, prestigious hotel and location. The $50 risotto was just OK, in spite of the 1/2 tail of a Maine lobster. The artfully presented desserts were flavorless, meaning the lemon tart did not taste of lemon, nor did the tiramisu taste of chocolate and coffee. Both desserts had the complexity of a sweet wax. At least the Negronis we ordered were ample and stiff. The sud-tirol pinot noir we had was also good, and a fair value- so I appreciate that. We did tell the wait staff the food was disappointing, and they appeared grateful for the advice, though I'm not certain they will change anything. There was no reduction in the bill or compensation otherwise. Sadly, this place is just OK, not worthy of a visit.

Tried to dine here this evening; restaurant was empty. Staff were rude and turned us away and said we needed to stay at hotel or needed a two day in advance reservation to be served. We assume it was our shorts and American accents!
